There will be changes to the production and publication of statistics produced by Statistics Finland in 2013.
New statistics on emissions into air by industry, quarterly local government finances, and financial activities will be published. Compilation of statistics on insurance activities will be transferred from the Financial Supervision Authority to Statistics Finland in 2013.
The statistics on local government financial statement estimates and quarterly statistics on the finances of municipalities will be discontinued during 2013. Their data content will be replaced with the more extensive statistics on quarterly local government finances. The statistics on credit cards and financial leasing will be discontinued as independent statistics, and in the future, their data will be published in connection with the statistics on financial activities. In addition, the statistics on outstanding credit will be discontinued.
