Results

The collected data are used to produce statistics on students in preparatory education for a skills examination and passers of a skills examination, which form a part of more extensive statistics on students and qualifications in vocational education.

The data are used by representatives of the educational administration in the planning and evaluation of education, as well as by organisers of education, and association, researchers and students in the field. Because the collected data are individual-based, they can also be combined with Statistics Finland’s other data files to examine applications and acceptance to education, student flows, overlapping studies, employment among students and transition from school to work.
