<description>According to Statistics Finland, a total of 111,800 students attended upper secondary general school education leading to qualification in 2010. This is 0.3 per cent less than the year before. Fifty-seven per cent of the students in upper secondary general school education leading to a qualification were women. Upper secondary education was offered at 395 upper secondary schools and 44 other educational institutions.</description>
