From airport to city centre

Helsinki-Vantaa airport is located some 20 kilometres north of Helsinki. A frequent bus service called Finnair City Bus operates between Helsinki-Vantaa and Finnair City Terminal located next to the central railway station. The fare (payable to driver) is EUR 4.90 and the journey takes around 35 minutes. Taxis are also available. A regular taxi fare to the city is EUR 25 to 30. Airport Taxis (which take a group of persons heading in the same direction) are slightly cheaper. Taxi drivers accept major credit cards and do not expect tips. Bus stops and taxi ranks are situated immediately outside the arrivals hall.

Statistics Finland is situated about 4 kilometres northeast of the central railway station of Helsinki. Taxi fare from the city centre to our office is EUR 10 to 15.

If you decide to use public transport the easiest way to get to our office is by bus numbers 73B or 68 from the square outside the central railway station (Railway Station Square). A single bus ticket bought from the driver costs EUR 2.
