Vision, strategy and values
Statistics Finland's vision is to be a top organisation in its field, recognised nationally and internationally for its high-quality data production and expertise, and for its co-operative and service capacity.
The values guiding Statistics Finland's activities are respect for the principles of statistical ethics, co-operation and mutual appreciation, service orientation, innovativeness, continuous improvement of activity and competence, and productiveness of activity.
The strategy guiding the agency's activities was last updated in 2007. The perspectives of the operational strategy are good service for data users, professionally, more for less, and better and more uniformly. The fifth adopted perspective is Statistics Finland as a reliable data producer, which follows the realisation of the other four perspectives.
