A Forecast of the Population of Europe 2004-2050

Forecasts were made for 18 countries. As a group we refer to them as EU/EEA.
Populations as of January 1, 2004 - January 1, 2050 were forecasted. Population as of January 1, 2003 was the latest considered known.
Population was disaggregated by age (0, 1, 2,..., 99, 100+) and sex. Here results are mainly presented for age-groups 0, 1-4, 5-9, ..., 90-94, 95+, but for year 2050 data by single years of age are also provided.
