• Library of Statistics is open to customers Mon-Fri from 10 am to 4 pm.
  Where needed, loans can be returned to the main lobby by Statistics Finland's main entrance during office hours from 8 am to 4.15 pm.

Summer opening hours 2013: Information service, guidance and loans

• The telephone information service at the Library of Statistics is open as usual mon-fri from 9 am to 4 pm, and lending and archive services are available only upon request between 1 July and 31 July 2013.
• The Service Point at Kaisa House is closed between 17 June and 12 August 2013.

Service centre for national and international statistical data

The Library of Statistics is a unit of Statistics Finland that specialises in the acquisition of statistical data and in the provision of services based on them. It functions as a special, public statistical library in Finland, and as a data archive for Statistics Finland. With its expertise in information management the Library serves all in need of statistical data.

• The Library has Finland's largest collection of national and international statistics in both printed and electronic formats.
• The Library has PC terminals which customers can use to search information from all sources, including domestic and international services that are subject to charge.
• The Library gives personal assistance in information searching via email or telephone. Extensive searches are done on assignment.
• The Library's online services are open 24 hours a day every day. The Library's website provides a variety of ways for accessing statistical data and tools for searching and finding them on the Internet.
