Women and Men in Finland 2016

In 2014, altogether 32 per cent of employees in management positions were women and 68 per cent were men. Of all upper-level employees, 47 per cent were women and 53 per cent were men.

In 2015, in total 19 per cent of the board members of the 150 largest unlisted companies were women. In enterprises employing more than 4,000 persons, 25 per cent of board members were women. In enterprises employing under 200 persons, 13 per cent of board members were women.

This information can be found in Statistics Finland's publication Women and Men in Finland 2016, which contains statistical data on the position of women and men in society and on gender equality. This pocket-size information package contains a compilation of statistics describing family, education, working life, health, time use and social decision-making.
