Statistics Finland's Finland in Figures is a pocket-size compact information package about Finland and Finns. The publication contains key data in the form of statistics and graphics on different areas of society, such as population, economy, living conditions, manufacturing and culture. International comparative data are also included.

Finland in Figures is easy to read and thanks to its small size you can always carry it with you - in your pocket or handbag, for instance. Be prepared for needing information about Finland both at home and abroad, at work and in your private life.

The Finland in Figures 2006 pocket statistics have just been released. They are published in three languages: in Finnish, Swedish and English.

The pocket statistics data are also available on the Internet in Finnish, Swedish, English, German and French (tilastokeskus.fi/suomilukuina).
