Growth rate of industrial output 2.9 per cent in May
The growth rate of industrial output increased in May. According to the index per working day of Statistics Finland, industrial output grew by 2.9 per cent in the year to May. In the January-April period output increased by a mere 0.5 per cent on the figure for the corresponding period in 1995.The Volume Index of Industrial Output (1990=100) was in May 127.6. This index point figure is the highest during this decade.
