The tables of indebtedness have been reformed. New statistics have been added to the tables and statistics on the income and number of household-dwelling units have been removed from the tables. Read more about the revision and its impact in our release.
Statistics Finland’s statistics on indebtedness show that the average debt per indebted household-dwelling unit was EUR 93,100 in 2021. The average housing loans of household-dwelling units with housing loans amounted to EUR 110,600. The amount of average debts and housing loans grew slightly in real terms from 2020.
