release | Subject choices of students 2021According to Statistics Finland, studying English remained unchanged in 2021 compared to the previous year. A total of 93 per cent of pupils in grades 1 to 6 studied English. In grades 7 to 9 almost all pupils, 98 per cent, studied English. Five per cent of pupils in grades 7 to 9 studied Spanish, nine per cent German and five per cent French.
