According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the goods volume in domestic waterborne traffic totalled 0,4 million tonnes in June 2022. Transport in domestic waterborne traffic increased by 22 per cent compared to June 2021. In June 2022 domestic water transport took place only in coastal waterways.

Oil products were transported most, in total 246,600 tonnes, which was 63 per cent of all transport. The second most transported was crude minerals and cement, 62,621 tonnes.
