Prices of old one-dwelling houses on level with the previous year in July to September 2022

According to Statistics Finland, prices of old one-dwelling houses were on level with the previous year in the third quarter of 2022 even though the the number of sales decreased. Compared to the previous quarter, prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased by three per cent. In early autumn 2022, around 17 per cent fewer transactions of old one-dwelling houses were made than in the corresponding period one year earlier.

  • Prices of old one-dwelling houses remained on level with the previous year. Prices rose in municipalities with over 100,000 inhabitants and slightly in municipalities with under 20,000 inhabitants, and decreased elsewhere.

  • Prices of one-dwelling house plots rose by 4.4 per cent in the whole country from the year before.
