National economyNet financial assets of general government and households grew in the fourth quarter of 2022
release | Financial accounts 2022, 4th quarterAccording to Statistics Finland, general government's net financial assets, i.e. the difference between assets and liabilities, amounted to EUR 161.4 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of 2022. General government's net financial assets went up by EUR 2.3 billion from the previous quarter. The net financial assets of central government improved since its financial assets increased more than its liabilities. Households' net financial assets grew by EUR 4.6 billion to EUR 175.8 billion.
