Building costs grew by 1.2 per cent year-on-year in November

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 1.2 per cent higher in November 2014 than in November of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction increased by 0.6 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 1.6 per cent and the prices of other inputs by 0.7 per cent from one year ago.

From October to November, the total index of building costs remained on the same as in the previous month. The prices of labour inputs also remained unchanged. The prices of materials went up by 0.1 per cent, and those of other inputs went down by 0.4 per cent from the previous month.
