Voluntary reporting of articles 3.3 and 3.4 under the Kyoto protocol

Finland submitted in April 2007 to the UNFCCC voluntary reporting of emissions and removals under the articles 3.3 and 3.4 of the Kyoto protocol. Article 3.3 contains the emissions and removals from afforestation, reforestation and deforestation activities. Under the article 3.4 Finland reports emissions and removals from Forest management activities. Methods, input data and models used in this voluntary, trial reporting are under development and thus the reporting during the actual Kyoto period in 2008-2012 will likely be different from this trial submission.
