review | Preliminary population statistics 31.3.2023According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population was 5,568,637 at the end of March 2023. During January–March Finland's population increased by 4,667 persons. The reason for the population increase was migration gain from abroad: the number of immigrants was 9,126 higher than that of emigrants. The number of births was 4,516 lower than that of deaths.
