Rents of dwellings

Official Statistics of Finland (OSF)
The statistics on rents of dwellings describe the level of rents in the rental dwelling stock and quarterly changes in rents. The data are based on the Social Insurance Institution's register of housing allowances and on the data of rental housing companies. The data are published quarterly.

According to Statistics Finland, non-subsidised rents increased by 0.2 per cent in Greater Helsinki and by 0.7 per cent in the rest of Finland in January to March 2022. The rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings rose most in Turku (1.4%) and Tampere (1.1%) and least in Mikkeli (0.0%) and Helsinki (0.2%). Non-subsidised rents decreased in Jyväskylä (0.4%).
