The index of turnover of trade describes development in turnover of enterprises engaged in trade. Turnover is exclusive of value-added tax. In addition, the volume index of sales, from which the impact of prices has been eliminated, is produced on trade. Data are based on the Tax Administration's data and a sales inquiry. The data are published monthly.

Releases
According to Statistics Finland, turnover in total trade adjusted for working days increased by 8.5 per cent in April 2022 from one year ago. The working day adjusted volume of sales in total trade, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, went down by 5.7 per cent. Seasonally adjusted turnover and sales volume decreased also compared to March.
