Periodical survey of wholesale trade

The statistics have been discontinued. The periodical survey of wholesale trade is conducted as an inquiry of enterprises covering all wholesale trade industries. Enterprises are selected to the sample survey so that they represent different enterprise size categories from all wholesale industries. The data obtained with the survey are expanded to correspond with those on the entire enterprise framework by industry. The data relate to the distribution of the turnover of wholesale trade by product and to the proportions of turnover accounted for by different customer groups. The first periodical survey will be implemented in 2004 concerning the year 2003 and the next one will concern the year 2008.
