Structural business and financial statement statistics contain data by industry on number, personnel and financial statements of enterprises operating in Finland. Statistics are compiled from the Tax Administration's business taxation file and with enterprise inquiries. Data are published twice a year.

Change
The group of statistical units in the structural business and financial statement statistics will be expanded starting from the statistical reference year 2021. Limitations concerning the operating time and size of enterprises have been removed from the definition of statistical units.

The structural business statistics will be renewed in autumn 2022, which will cause a break in the time series between 2020 and 2021.
