Description
The financial statements of mutual funds and investment management companies and notes to the accounts are published in the statistics on the financial statements of mutual funds and investment management companies.
Data content
Published data on mutual funds comprise profit and loss accounts and balance sheets inclusive of notes to them classified into groups according to the investment policies of the funds. Notes to financial statements present e.g. contents of securities portfolio by issuing sector and claim, and distribution of issued fund units by owner sector. Published data on the investment management companies administering mutual funds include profit and loss accounts and balance sheets inclusive of notes to them.
The basic data are subject to general rules on secrecy.

Data collection methods and data sources
The data are collected direct from mutual funds and investment management companies in compliance with e.g. the directions concerning financial statements issued by Financial Supervision to mutual funds.
