Description

The statistics on credit cards contain data on the numbers of credit card accounts and credit card transactions, on the amount of credit card debt, bad card debts, credit card interest rates and extra charges, delayed card repayments and card payment transactions.

Data content

Active and passive card accounts by type of card, value of domestic credit card transactions by industry and type of card, credit card debts and credit limits by type of card, bad debts and fees customers and sellers are charged for the use of credit cards, delayed payments and payment transactions by type of card.

The data on individual units may not be disclosed.

Classifications used

Credit cards by validity (general and special credit cards) and mode of payment (charge cards, actual credit cards). Card transactions by industry.

Questionnaire inquiry of institutions administering credit cards.
