| Description: | European Parliament elections are held every five years in all Member States of the European Union. In Finland, the polling day is the second Sunday in June. Statistics Finland produces official statistics from the elections; preliminary data are produced and made available on the Internet on the day following the actual polling day, final statistics (as a conventional paper publication) in the year following the election year.
