Productivity of local government weakened in education and health care in 2010

The productivity of municipalities and joint municipal boards weakened in education and health care in 2010. In the previous year productivity improved slightly in both industries. This is indicated by Statistics Finland's Statistics on local government productivity. Productivity fell by one per cent in education and by close on one-and-a-half per cent in health care.

Statistical releases will not be issued in English from these statistics in 2012.

Description: The statistics describe volume changes in the output and total input of education, health and social work of municipalities and joint municipal boards and changes in total productivity calculated from them. The data are published on the industry level.
