| Description: | The index of real estate maintenance costs describes development in the prices of diverse real estate maintenance tasks, such as administration, running and servicing, upkeep of outdoor areas, cleaning, heating, water supply and waste management. To monitor total costs, individual maintenance cost factors are monitored for the index according to a nomenclature of building management tasks. The total costs produced according to the nomenclature can be grouped into maintenance, capital and direct costs. In addition, ground rents and real estate tax are separately identified in direct costs.
