Producer prices for manufactured products rose by 0.1 per cent in February
According to Statistics Finland, producer prices for manufactured products rose by an average of 0.1 per cent from February 2012 to February 2013. Producer prices for manufactured products sold on the domestic market rose by 0.9 per cent, while the producer prices of export products went down by 1.0 per cent.

The Export Price Index fell by 0.9 per cent and the Import Price Index by 0.9 per cent in the year. The Basic Price Index for Domestic Supply went up by 1.1 per cent. The year-on-year change in the Basic Price Index for Domestic Supply, Including Taxes was 1.9 per cent.
The rise in the producer prices for manufactured products was particularly caused by higher prices of food, district heat and machines and equipment from February of the previous year. The rise was curbed by falls in the prices of metals, electricity and electronic appliances, in particular.
From January to February, producer prices for manufactured goods went up by 0.6 per cent. The rise was mainly caused by increases in the prices of oil products and district heat.
