Producer prices for manufactured products rose by 0.2 per cent in June
According to Statistics Finland, producer prices for manufactured products rose by an average of 0.2 per cent from June 2012 to June 2013. Producer prices for manufactured products sold on the domestic market rose by 1.5 per cent, while the producer prices of export products went down by 1.5 per cent.

The Export Price Index fell by 1.3 per cent and the Import Price Index by 0.4 per cent in the year. The Basic Price Index for Domestic Supply went up by 1.2 per cent. The year-on-year change in the Basic Price Index for Domestic Supply, Including Taxes was 2.1 per cent.
The rise in the producer prices for manufactured products was particularly caused by increased prices of electricity, food and district heating compared to June 2012. The rise was curbed by falls in the prices of manufacturing of basic metals, paper, paper products and oil products.
From May to June, producer prices for manufactured products fell by 0.1 per cent. The fall was mainly due to decreased prices of manufacturing of paper, paper products and basic metals.
