Finland’s preliminary population figure was 5,578,082 at the end of June 2023

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population at the end of June was 5,578,082. During January–June Finland's population increased by 14,112 persons. The reason for the population increase was migration gain from abroad: the number of immigrants was 22,749 higher than that of emigrants. The number of births was 8,570 lower than that of deaths.
