Building costs rose by 9.3 per cent in September

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 9.3 per cent in September 2021 compared with the previous year. The costs of materials went up by 13.2 per cent and labour costs by 6.1 per cent from one year ago. The prices of services rose by 1.2 per cent.

Description: The building cost index describes relative changes in the building costs of building works and buildings of essentially identical structures by monitoring developments in the prices of the basic inputs used in their building.
