Environmental protection expenditure in industry
The inquiry produces data on the operating expenditure arising from environment protection of enterprises by establishment. In addition, the inquiry concerns the amount of possible investment expenditure from environmental protection. The data are collected from enterprises by establishment. The statistical period used is a calendar year.
All enterprises with at least 250 employees are included in the inquiry. Stratified sampling is used for enterprises with fewer than 250 employees. The statistics include the industries of mining and quarrying, manufacturing, energy supply and water supply.

This is how to respond
Log in to the form via Suomi.fi identification or with the user ID and password sent by Statistics Finland.
The Suomi.fi identification as an organisation respondent requires that you have been given a mandate via your organisation to respond to the inquiry. The mandate is granted in the Suomi.fi service.

Because you respond on behalf of the organisation, you need a mandate for the Suomi.fi identification from your organisation. The name of the mandate required is Responding to data collections from enterprises and organisations. The mandate definer (i.e. specifier) ymps is also needed in this inquiry.
In this data collection, an establishment definer (or place of business specifier) can be attached to the mandate if necessary. The definer can be found in the top right corner of this letter. By means of the definer the enterprise can define the mandate to relate only to a certain establishment.
