Description
The first continuing vocational training survey (CVTS1) was conducted in 1994 concerning 1993. The survey was then implemented in 12 Member States of the European Union, but Finland did not participate in the data collecting. The collection of data for the second Continuing Vocational Training Survey (CVTS2) concerned the year 1999 and that of the third Continuing Vocational Training Survey (CVTS3) concerned the year 2005. The target group of the CVTS3 survey were enterprises with at least ten employees excluding agriculture and forestry, health and social work, education and public administration. In Finland, Statistics Finland has been responsible for publishing data from the survey. In addition, Eurostat has published several releases and publications from the data for the whole of the European Union. The Continuing Vocational Training Survey data collection is based on a decree which entered into force in 2005.
