In July to September, prices of old single-family houses at last years level

The prices of old single-family houses in the whole country remained unchanged year-on-year in the third quarter of 2019. In Greater Helsinki, prices rose by 4.9 per cent and in the rest of the country they fell by 0.5 per cent. Compared with the previous quarter, prices of old single-family houses decreased in the whole country by 2.3 per cent. These data derive from Statistics Finlands Index of real estate prices, which is compiled by utilising data from the real estate transaction register of the National Land Survey of Finland.

Retrospective time series from 2010 onwards according to the new calculation method revised earlier this year are published for the indices of old single-family houses and single-family house plots.
