Building costs grew by 1.7 per cent year-on-year in February

Building costs were 1.7 per cent higher in February 2013 than in February 2012. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by one per cent, the prices of materials by 1.7 per cent and those of other inputs by 3.1 per cent from one year ago. This is indicated by Statistics Finland's Building Cost Index 2010=100.

From January to February, the total index of building costs rose by 0.2 per cent. The prices of labour remained unchanged, the prices of materials increased by 0.3 per cent and those of other inputs also by 0.3 per cent.
