Building costs grew by 0.9 per cent year-on-year in June

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.9 per cent higher in June 2013 than in June 2012. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.1 per cent, the prices of materials by 0.7 per cent and those of other inputs by 1.6 per cent from one year ago.

From May to June, the total index of building costs fell by 0.1 per cent. The prices of labour remained unchanged, the prices of materials decreased by 0.3 per cent and those of other inputs increased by 0.6 per cent.
