According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.7 per cent higher in July 2013 than in July 2012. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.1 per cent, the prices of materials by 0.3 per cent and those of other inputs by 1.6 per cent from one year ago.
Building cost index 2010=100

From June to July, the total index of building costs fell by 0.2 per cent. The prices of labour and other inputs remained unchanged. Those of materials decreased by 0.4 per cent.
