Building costs grew by 0.9 per cent year-on-year in January

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.9 per cent higher in January 2015 than in January of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction increased by 1.4 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 0.7 per cent and the prices of other inputs by 0.6 per cent from one year ago.

From December to January, the total index of building costs rose by 0.2 per cent. The prices of labour inputs increased by 0.5 per cent. The prices of materials and other inputs went up by 0.1 per cent month-on-month.
