Turnover of construction enterprises fell by nearly 2 per cent in February to April from the year before
Turnover of construction enterprises contracted by 1.9 per cent in February to April 2013 from the year before. The turnover of civil engineering fell by 3.4 per cent and that of construction of buildings by 3.0 per cent. The turnover of specialised construction activities decreased by 0.5 per cent in the February to April period.

The sales volume of construction enterprises went down by 3.8 per cent year-on-year in the February to April period. The sales volume of building construction fell by 5.2 per cent, that of civil engineering by 3.9 per cent and that of specialised construction activities by 2.8 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
