Turnover of construction enterprises grew by good seven per cent in the last quarter

According to Statistics Finland, turnover of construction enterprises grew by 7.4 per cent in October to December 2016. In the corresponding period one year earlier the growth amounted to as much. The sales volume of construction grew by 4.8 per cent in October to December 2016.

Description: The index of turnover of construction describes monthly development in the turnover of construction companies. The examined variable is domestic turnover, formed of domestic sales subject to value added tax. The data used for calculating the variable are exclusive of value added tax. In addition, a volume index of sales is produced on construction that measures the development of output in the construction industry.
