Data:	Latest release: Number of marriages increased, divorces decreased 19 Apr 2013 According to Statistics Finland's data on population changes, the number of marriages entered into in 2012 went up slightly from the previous year. A total of 28,878 marriages were entered into, which was 470 more than in the year before. The enlivening of marriage did not focus clearly on any particular age group but was divided between several age groups. Next release: Statistical releases will not be issued in English from these statistics in 2013.

The categories of marital status are unmarried, married, divorced, widowed, partner in a registered same-sex partnership, divorced from a registered same-sex partnership and widowed from a registered same-sex partnership.
