A total of 29,100 university degrees were attained in 2010

According to Statistics Finland, a total of 29,100 university degrees were attained in Finland in 2010. Of the degrees attained in 2010, 12,400 were lower university degrees and 14,400 higher university degrees. Completed degrees at the doctorate level numbered 1,500. Foreign citizens attained 1,200 degrees. Women completed 58 per cent of all university degrees.
