Statistics Finland takes part in the Ultrahack 2016 tournament
The Ultrahack 2016 tournament will culminate in the main event arranged in Helsinki on 25 to 27 November 2016, to which around 300 top experts from Finland and abroad have been selected. This year, Statistics Finland participates in Ultrahack with its own challenges.
Ultrahack is a tournament hackathon, which gathers together student teams, coders and start-up companies to solve cooperation partners’ topical challenges. The objective is to create new economic and social innovations.
Statistics Finland's challenges seek new ways to use Statistics Finland's data for economic forecasting. In addition, participants are encouraged to develop innovative data visualisations or new content to the stat.fi website.
