Information about the release
Statistics Finland started using the Digital and Population Data Services Agency's PIS modified data interface for modified data in the population information system, which caused a technical production break. During the break, Statistics Finland was unable to produce the figures of the preliminary population statistics. The data for January were originally to be released on 20 February 2024, but due to the production break, the statistical release for January was cancelled and the data for January were published on 19 March 2024 in connection with the data for February.
