Changes to database tables of the statistics on greenhouse gases on 14 December 2022
Date of change:Starting from December 2022, data on greenhouse gas emissions are published in two new database tables, 13qm - Greenhouse gas emissions in Finland: effort sharing and emissions trading sectors, and 13qn - Fuel-based greenhouse gas emissions (1A) in energy use by fuel group.
Database table 13qm presents greenhouse gas emissions in the emissions trading and effort sharing sectors and CO₂ emissions from civil aviation starting from 2013.
Database table 13qn presents greenhouse gas emissions in the energy sector by fuel group and gas starting from 1990. Both new database tables use the GWP coefficients according to the IPCC's Fifth Assessment Report (AR5).
